Shaanxi to roll out smart trucks with Seyond’s Falcon LiDAR

China / USA - Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Company Ltd, the commercial vehicle subsidiary of China’s Shaanxi Automobile Group (Shacman) headquartered in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, announced that it has strengthened its strategic partnership with long-range, image-grade LiDAR provider, Seyond. Seyond, which is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, USA, was previously known as Innovusion before rebranding to Seyond in December 2023.
Shaanxi, which had already been working closely with Seyond, has agreed to launch large-scale production of a commercial vehicle range, from express delivery vans to heavy-duty long-haul trucks, fitted with Seyond’s automotive-grade long-range Falcon LiDAR systems.
