Sinotruk sets up truck production JV in Kazakhstan

Sinotruk’s Howo trucks to be produced in Khazakstan

Kazakhstan / China - China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk), headquartered in Jinan, in China’s Shandong Province, has established a new joint venture in the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan to produce heavy-duty trucks for the local market.

Together with its local partner, Saran Machinery Ltd, Sinotruk plans to build a new facility in the city of Saran, in the Karaganda region, where it plans to assemble Howo-branded trucks and special vehicles. The agreement was marked by an event attended by Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Roman Sklyar.
