Foton’s heavy-duty truck sales surge 75% in H1
China - Chinese state-owned commercial vehicle manufacturer, Beiqi Foton Motor Company (Foton), headquartered in Beijing, said it delivered a total of 327,000 vehicles globally in the first half of 2025, across all vehicle segments including light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This represented a 9.1% increase over the same period last year.
Total sales were driven higher by a 74% jump in heavy-duty truck sales to 67,000 units, while sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) surged by 151% to 50,000 units in this period. The company stated that the strong sales improvement was driven by its continued strategic transformation, improvements in marketing operations, and enhanced product competitiveness.
