UK – UK-based energy company Gasrec Ltd*, based in London, has commenced construction on its second large-scale public biomethane refuelling station, located strategically at Hams Hall, near the M6 and M42 motorway junctions. This site is scheduled to open later this year. The facility will have the capacity to serve 300 Bio-LNG trucks per day, with a scalable target of 1,000 trucks as demand scales. The site will feature seven Bio-LNG dispensers and modern fuelling infrastructure.

This is Gasrec’s second major open-access biomethane station, following its flagship facility at the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT), which continues to operate at full capacity. Over the next two years, Gasrec plans to roll out further public-access sites in Warrington, Avonmouth, and other locations yet to be announced.
