South Korea’s A2Z trials autonomous bus in Singapore

Autonomous bus trialed in Singapore by A2Z

Singapore / South Korea - Seven-year-old start-up Autonomous A2Z (A2Z), headquartered in Daegu, with the support of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KIBO), co-hosted a series of autonomous bus trials in Singapore with local ride hailing company, Grab, along with officials from the South Korean Embassy and Singapore’s Ministry of Land Transport in attendance.

A2Z, established in 2018, is the first South Korean company to obtain a government licence to test autonomous vehicles on public roads in Singapore. The trials were aimed at promoting autonomous driving technologies among local transportation companies, to encourage future collaboration, and to help A2Z improve its understanding of the operating environment in Singapore.
