Valeo opens ADAS and autonomous sensor facility in Shanghai

Valeo's new R&D and manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China
France / China – At the end of August, Valeo SA of Paris, France opened a new production facility in Shanghai, China which is dedicated to the development and production of electronics for driver assistance and autonomous driving.
The new 30,000-square-metre facility is located in the Jiading district of northern Shanghai and includes space for research and development as well as manufacturing. Valeo will use the new site to produce sensors and lidars for use in advanced driver assistance and self-driving systems, not only for the Chinese market but for global automotive customers.
