Ireland / UK / Turkey – Official bus and coach distributor EVM UK Ltd of Horsham, UK, announced a raft of orders at the 2025 Cenex event (September 3 - 4 at the UTAC Millbrook proving ground in Northamptonshire, UK). Speaking with EVM officials, they told us that the company had secured two significant contract wins that underline its growing footprint in the UK bus and coach sector. In Edinburgh, small-group tour operator Rabbie’s Trail Burners has secured a GBP 2.439 million funding package from Royal Bank of Scotland and Lombard to expand and refresh its touring fleet. The deal covers 22 new coaches from EVM, eight of which are new additions and the remainder replacements, with deliveries scheduled for summer 2025 across Rabbie’s UK and Ireland operations. While specific models and drivelines have not yet been disclosed, the investment highlights Rabbie’s commitment to efficiency and passenger comfort.

At the same time, EVM has announced the rollout of 25 brand-new “75-plate” buses across 12 UK locations under its “Rolling out the future” programme. Registered from September 2025 onwards, the vehicles are designed to strengthen local fleets and position operators for the transition to modern mobility solutions. Technical details, including OEM partners and powertrain configurations, remain to be confirmed, but the deployment demonstrates EVM’s intent to broaden its national presence and support operators with fresh vehicle capacity.
