Iveco Bus delivers 110 Crossway Elec units to De Lijn

Belgium / Italy – Iveco Bus (a brand of the Iveco Group NV*) based in Turin has recently delivered 110 units of its Crossway Elec to De Lijn, the Flemish public transport operator. The delivery marks a major step in De Lijn’s transition towards a zero-emission fleet, with the Crossway Elec designed for both intercity and regional missions.
The buses are equipped with modular NMC lithium battery packs developed by FPT Industrial, offering configurations between 346 kWh and 485 kWh. Depending on the setup, the models can achieve a range of 400–500 km, making them suitable for intensive daily operations. The vehicles use a 290 kW Cummins ELFA III electric motor and support both CCS2 depot charging and optional pantograph charging.
