Busworld 2025: Skyworth presents electric buses and vans

Belgium – At Busworld Europe 2025, held at the Brussels Expo between 4-9 October, Chinese brand Skyworth of Nanjing, Jiangsu presented a new “European-standard” city bus as well as an electric van for minibus conversion.
The 12-metre battery electric bus, carrying the designation ‘NJL6128BEV’, can carry a total of 99 passengers (seated and standing). The low-floor bus is powered by LFP batteries in configurations of 466 and 528 kilowatt hours, providing ranges of 440 and 495 kilometres respectively. Alongside the 12-metre bus, Skyworth presented a 5-metre ‘Urban Elf’ model with steer-by-wire and a turning radius of 6.8 metres. Accommodating up to nineteen passengers, Skyworth claims this bus provides a range of up to 490km with an energy capacity of just 80 kWh.
