Belgium / Netherlands – BYD Europe BV of Schiedam, Netherlands, the European subsidiary of Shenzhen, China-based BYD Auto Co Ltd, unveiled its latest electric bus line-up at Busworld Europe 2025 in Brussels (October 4–9). The headliners were the 12-metre B12.b HF, designed for intercity and commuter operations, and the 18-metre B18.b, targeting high-capacity urban and BRT routes. Both models are built on BYD’s next-generation eBus 3.0 platform, incorporating the company’s signature Blade Battery Chassis and 6-in-1 silicon-carbide (SiC) powertrain controller.

According to BYD representatives, the B12.b HF is a high-floor electric intercity bus featuring a modular LFP Blade Battery with capacities from 311 kWh to 495 kWh, offering a driving range of up to 650 km on a single charge. The dual-motor drive provides a combined output of 300 kW, while supporting fast DC and pantograph charging up to 520 kW.
