Scania, JOAB and PowerCell have collaborated in the development of the nation's first waste collection truck powered by hydrogen fuel cells, put into service in Gothenburg.

Fuel cell stack manufacturer, Powercell Sweden - a spinoff company from Volvo Group and set up as a separate entity in 2008 - has decided to open a sales office in China to better meet the strong increase in fuel cell technology in the Chinese market.
