Hübner boosts photonics capabilities with Cobalt AB acquisition

Hübner and Cobalt merger
Germany – Hübner GmbH & Co. KG (Hübner Group) of Kassel, Germany, has procured Swedish laser manufacturer Cobalt AB, based in Stockholm. Whilst the financial details of the acquisition were not publicly disclosed, Hübner pursued this acquisition to enhance its presence in the photonics market, leveraging Cobolt's innovative laser technologies to complement its existing portfolio in photonics, terahertz, and high-frequency electronics.
*Cobolt AB is a Swedish company specialising in the development and manufacturing of compact, high-performance lasers used in analytical instrumentation applications.
