GreenPower Bus starts production of EV Star models

Canada / USA – GreenPower Bus, part of Vancouver-based GreenPower Motor Company Inc, is commencing production of its EV Star and EV Star Plus electric 'Min-eBuses' in its recently acquired facility in Porterville, California. The company said it already had orders for over 40 EV Star and EV Star Plus electric Min-eBuses.

GreenPower said in August 2018, it had entered into a four-year lease with a three-year option for a facility with more than 50,000 square feet of space, as a manufacturing and assembly centre. Production began in December 2018 - GreenPower said it was aiming for 25 units per month and it expected to produce 250 units by the end of 2019.
