New company - SEM Transport Solutions - offers trailer industry new axle steering system options

The Netherlands / UK - SEM Transport Solutions of Barnevald, The Netherlands, a new subsidiary of transportation distribution giant, POM Group, is in the process of developing a number of axle steering systems products for the European trailer market, which are being brought to market during 2019.
On display at the IAA last September was one of the first examples of a mechanical steering system with a single bar; the prototype was seen fitted to a Pacton 13.6m brick semi-trailer with front mounted loading crane. Also on the stand was the SEM SI - an independent suspension, for irregular height loads up to 3.7m or double deck trailers across Europe - it featured the SEM triangle suspension with SAF wheel end components and drum brakes.
