Nooteboom upgrades NoVAB support software

The Netherlands – Nooteboom, the heavy haulage specialist trailer manufacturer of Nieuweweg has developed a Cloud-based version of its NoVAB axle weight calculation software assistance tool - Nooteboom 3.0 Cloud version. It offers important improvements and advantages and aids selection of the right tractor-trailer and calculates how the weight of the load is distributed over the various axles. Its function is said to be even quicker and easier.
Users can specify whether one or several axles are to be lifted and determine the optimal load position to prevent exceeding the maximum axle loads. It ensures a complete combination is compliant with maximum axle loads permitted within a specific country. NoVAB generates a useful drawing of the general arrangement with all the relevant axle load details and other important parameters. This document is extremely helpful when applying for an exemption and aids the driver by instructing where to position the load on the trailer.
