Roger Alm appointed president of Volvo Trucks

Sweden - Roger Alm has been appointed as a new member of Volvo’s Group Executive Board and President Volvo Trucks. He replaces Claes Nilsson who retired from his position from January 1, 2019. Diana Niu has also been appointed as a member of the Group Executive Board and becomes Executive Vice President Group Human Resources for Volvo Group.

Roger Alm, born in 1962, was most recently President for the European Division at Volvo Trucks. He joined Volvo Trucks in 1989 and he has held many senior positions at the company, including head of operations in Latin America and Europe.
