Supermarket takes delivery of first DAF CF Electric

The Netherlands - DAF Trucks NV of Eindhoven has delivered its first fully electric truck to Dutch supermarket chain, Jumbo. The CF Electric, developed jointly by DAF and the VDL Groep, also of Eindhoven, is be used by Jumbo to supply its supermarkets in the south of the Netherlands.

This also marks the start of a series of long-term field tests using both fully electric and hybrid trucks.
