New generation Giti trailer tyre claims to deliver around 30% increase in mileage

Germany / Indonesia / Singapore – Singapore tyre manufacturer, Giti Tire has launched onto the European market its new generation trailer tyre – the Giti GTR955 Combi Road – which it claims can deliver a mileage increase of around 30% against previous comparable products. Giti's claim follows a four-year design and test period on several different fleet types across various diverse sectors. The new tyre's performance has been achieved through enhancing the tyre profile, advanced belt construction and a newly developed tread compound.
Additional benefits are said to be a rolling resistance improvement of approximately 10% and better wet braking, both of which result in B labelling. Its design and developments in manufacturing are also said to increase its re-treadability properties.
