SAF-Holland acquires majority stake in PressureGuard

Germany / USA – SAF-Holland GmbH of Bessenbach, Germany has acquired a majority interest in PressureGuard LLC of Nashville, Tennessee, a US specialist in automatic tyre pressure management. The move allows SAF to strengthen its competence in tyre pressure systems in North America while expanding its product portfolio with sophisticated digital 'smart' products in trailer applications. In the medium term, SAF plans to offer the PressureGuard system in Europe, China and other sales markets as well.
The PressureGuard system is claimed to be a durable, robust solution for tyre pressure management. It features several unique selling points, including stainless steel braided hoses, special cast aluminium hub caps with protection function, a unique axle venting element (patent pending) and patented high-pressure relief functions.
