France / Germany – Transport refrigeration specialist, Carrier Transicold Europe SCS of Rouen, France (part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security – a subsidiary of United  Technologies Corporation), has introduced a range of new developments, first seen at the 2018 IAA exhibition last year.

The latest generation, Vector HE 19 trailer refrigeration unit features a new, modern design and innovative features that increases operational efficiency and improve fuel consumption by up to 30%, reduce unit weight by 10% and boost refrigerant containment even further. The changes, Carrier states, help to minimise the system’s environmental impact, while reducing both running costs and total cost of ownership (TCO).
