Italy / Germany – Italian cement working equipment manufacturer, CIFA Spa, part of Chinese industrial group, Zoomlion Heavy Industry since 2008, is to present a new range of mobile cement equipment at Bauma 2019.  The display is to include a world premiere of the first hybrid truck mixer pump and the new K67H truck-mounted pump.

The Magnum MK28E, CIFA claims is the first hybrid truck mixer pump in the world and its new Carbotech K67H truck-mounted pump represents an innovative step forwards in terms of fuel economy and reduced environmental impact while offering increased performance and productivity.  The Magnum MK28E plug-in hybrid truck mixer pump is also much quieter in operation and is to be incorporated in other models in CIFA's Energya range. MK28E is characterised by a 7 cu m drum and a 28m boom with the last two sections made of carbon fibre. The hybrid technology used enables the truck mixer pump to be activated even when the truck engine (CNG or Diesel options) is switched off. The phases of the drum rotation, the machine stabilisation, the opening/closing of the boom and pumping of the concrete are now managed electrically.
