France / China - BYD Company Ltd of Shenzhen, China has announced its 13m electric coach is undergoing in-service trial operations with French operator, TransDev. The coach was first seen at Autocar Expo held in Lyon in October 2018, having been assembled at BYD's assembly in Beauvais, France.

In Beauvais, two BYD buses have been in local operation since December last year, but the electric coach is intended to operate long distance services. It will serve the Region Hauts-de-France – a public transport authority - and is to be operated by Transdev Hauts-de-France on a twice-daily run on route 33E between the bus stations of Beauvais and Compiègne, and via Clermont station. The route length is around 120km and a total of 240km per day on a single charge.
