Germany / China / IsraelEberspächer Climate Control Systems GmbH of Esslingen has begun forging stronger relationships with Chinese electric bus manufacturers. The company's full AC 136 AE HP climate control unit, which is specially designed for use with hybrid or fully electric vehicles, is being installed on more than 40 Chinese-made electric buses destined for Israel, which are being supplied by BYD and Golden Dragon. The zero-emission vehicles are to be used by Israeli transport companies in Tel Aviv, Haifa and, for the first time, in Jerusalem.

Eberspächer's roof-mounted AC 136 AE HP (All Electric / Heat Pump) delivers an electrically driven air-conditioning solution tailored to the requirements of hybrid and electric buses. Its reversible refrigerant circuit combines cooling and heating functions in a single device – ensuring passengers enjoy the ideal temperature all year round. In addition, the system scores with 100% fresh air supply.
