Longer life for rental vehicles through idem telematics at Fraikin Germany

Germany / France - idem telematics GmbH, part of Wiehl-based BPW Bergische Achsen Group, has announced it is contracted to supply its entire product range to the German subsidiary of French rental company, Fraikin. Fraikin Deutschland GmbH, which was established just three years ago, has all its towing units and trailers fitted with idem telematics.
Fraikin says it uses idem telematics for preventive maintenance of its tractor trailer combinations to avoid unusual wear and damage. The company says close monitoring of its rental vehicles ensures a longer service life. Alexander Roas, Technical Director at Fraikin Deutschland remarked: “For us, it is important that our customers handle the vehicles carefully and in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. idem telematics allows us to monitor the vehicles and use very closely.”
