South Korea says hydrogen and fuel cell technology to fuel future growth

South Korea - The South Korean government is actively promoting the use of hydrogen as a new source of economic and manufacturing growth for the country.

The “hydrogen economy” has also become a key part of the government strategy towards a low-carbon based economy, under pressure from the growing air quality concerns in the country. Fine dust, generated locally and blown over also from China, is seen as an increasing threat to public health in South Korea.
