CVG splits business into two operating entities

USA - Commercial Vehicle Group Inc of New Albany, Ohio, USA is implementing a strategic reorganisation of its operations into two business segments of Electrical Systems and Global Seating.
CVG's Electrical Systems segment will comprise its wire harness, interior trim, wipers and structures businesses, which aim to take advantage of the significant growth potential in the USD8bn to 10bn wire and electrical vehicle market. CVG stated that electrical wire harness content continues to increase for commercial vehicles creating inherent market growth opportunities, while the design direction of interior trim and wiper systems is migrating towards more electronic integration. As the digital sophistication of these products grow and advance, CVG will use its core strengths to increase participation in the market.
