Knorr-Bremse to collaborate with Chinese ebus manufacturer

Germany – Munich-based braking system manufacturer, Knorr-Bremse AG is to collaborate with a major, as yet un-named, Chinese electric bus builder to supply customised EBS systems.

Knorr-Bremse confirmed it would enter extensive co-operation on new energy, all electric buses and the development of related vehicle dynamics intelligence and relevant cutting-edge technology. Trials of 8-12m electric buses equipped with Knorr-Bremse EBS for the national public transportation system in China have proved a complete success and co-operation will therefore be extended to all of the manufacturer’s other electric bus models.
