Tata Motors develops fully-built refrigerated trucks for pharmaceutical transport sector

India - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai has won an order for 200 fully-built refrigerated trucks from Kool-ex Cold Chain Ltd1, a cold chain logistics service provider specialising in the pharmaceutical industry. This contract has been funded by Tata Motors Finance Ltd.

The refrigerated trucks are to be built on the Tata LPT 16132 MCV truck chassis and the Tata LPT 25183 Multi axle truck chassis. Tata Motors works with a number of approved large scale body builders such as Commercial Engineers and Body Builders Co Ltd (CEBCO) of Napier Town, Jabalpur and Surakhsha Transport Systems (India) P. Ltd of Coimbatore.
