Prawaas 4.0 is an event organized by the Bus and Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI), held on August 29-31, 2024 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Below we report on the new vehicles launched at the show with a mix of drivelines including clean diesel, natural gas and battery electric.

The order is from Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt Ltd, a two-year old start-up logistics focussed on revolutionizing operations with green fuel solutions.

The project will evaluate the performance of these fuel cell electric buses in the Delhi NCR region's challenging climate, focussing on how local fuel and air quality affect the buses' efficiency, longevity, and operational reliability in transit bus fleets.

The formal split and formal establishment of the two entities will take place at the start of the next fiscal year, i.e. April 1, 2025.

Models include LNG and BEV tippers and tractors.

The MoU outlines an investment over a span of five years, with the potential to generate up to 5,000 jobs, both directly and indirectly.

The facility is fully digitally controlled and is equipped with advanced storage systems, including gravity spiral and vertical reciprocating conveyors.

Tata Motors in recent years has been expanding its export markets. South Africa along with countries in West and North Africa are now target markets.

The company’s four other Re.Wi.Re registered vehicle scrapping facilities are in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Surat and Chandigarh.

Tata Daewoo has resumed exports to Algeria under the Daewoo brand after the country’s Ministry of Trade began easing restrictions on vehicle imports last year.

The first ‘B6.7H’ hydrogen engines rolled off the production line at Jamshedpur in March and are now being integrated in Tata trucks.

Tata Motors has delivered a further 100 StarBus EV buses to Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), as part of a contract for 921 units of Tata Motors’ Urban 12m electric buses. (Deliveries to date account for approximately 40% of the contract, Tata Motors states).
