Ayats introduces 11.5m double deck Intercity coach on 2-axles

Spanish coachbuilder, Carrocerías Ayats SA of Arbúcies has introduced a two-axle double deck intercity coach, designated Intercity. The first two of these were delivered to customers in Spain early in 2019. Intercity features the same body styling as the existing three-axle Bravo but is 11.5m long and has reduced passenger capacity of 82 seats compared with 100 on the triaxle. The Ayats chassis is powered using a Mercedes-Benz engine and ZF gearbox.
