Hino starts building new truck plant in Russia

Japan / Russia - Hino Motors Corporation of Hino-shi, Japan (a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation) in April began construction of a new assembly plant in Khimki, near Moscow, to supply the local market with light and medium trucks.

Managed by Hino’s Moscow-based subsidiary Hino Motors LLC, the plant is to have a production capacity of 2,000 trucks per year and is scheduled to become operational in mid-2020.
