New Meiller plant in Austria due to start production in February

Following the announcement in April 2018 by FX Meiller Fahrzeug-und Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co KG of Munich, Germany it was investing EUR22m in a new tipper production facility at Oed-Öhling in Austria, Daniel Böhner, CEO, when visiting Tip-Ex 2019 in Harrogate last month, said the new plant would be ready to move into by November this year and start of production was scheduled for February next year.

Böhner said Austrian sales operation already accounted for EUR45m in sales. The plant, he said, would assemble, paint and mount some 1,500 tipper bodies a year primarily for markets in Austria, Southern Germany and Switzerland.
