BYD to sell electric trucks through forklift distributors in Spain

The Netherlands / Spain – BYD Europe NV of Amsterdam, The Netherlands is planning to sell electric trucks in Europe starting with Spain through its network of forklift distributors.
Speaking at UITP in Stockholm, Penny Peng said it has developed the T3 and T6 models, which are 3.5-ton and 7.5-ton gvw models for Europe as well as global markets. Peng said the T6 would go on trials soon and the logic behind using its sales network of forklift distributors was its customers could buy both the electric forklift and truck together. Furthermore, Peng sees this as a practical solution that will enable BYD to offer aftermarket service support from one location.
