China's Alpha Bus positions itself to sell electric buses in Europe

China / Italy / Sweden - Jiangsu Alfa Bus Co Ltd (Alfabus) of Jiangyin, Jiangsu province, China was at the UITP exhibition and conference in Stockholm, last month displaying its full electric city bus with overnight charging, Known as Alfabus, the company was at the show to raise customer awareness of its plans for Europe.

The company says it has been building full electric buses since 2002 and in 2012 supplied full electric buses for the Beijing Olympics. In 2015, it supplied two full electric buses at the World Expo in Milan. Subsequently, in December last year, it formed a strategic partnership with Basco Srl, a 40-year-old distributor and seller of secondhand buses based in Comasco, Italy for the distribution of Alfabus’s electric buses in Europe.
