France / Spain – The first Static Recharge Station (SRS) (charging by direct contact with charging plates in the ground) by Alstom for buses is being installed in Malaga for operation with two electric buses, one from Alstom Aptis, and the other from Linkker Oy of Lahti, Finland.

Derived from the APS tramway application, which is a 15-year service-proven charging system, for catenary free tramway operation, installed in seven cities worldwide and with more than 30 million kilometres of operation to date. APS is proven to operate in harsh climatic conditions such as extreme temperatures, humidity, heavy rain, snow and ice.
