Hitachi launches truck-sharing service in Thailand

Japan / Thailand - Electronics giant, Hitachi Ltd of Chiyoda, Japan last month launched a truck sharing service in Thailand to help improve road haulage efficiency in the country.

Through its local subsidiaries, Hitachi Asia (Thailand) Co Ltd and Hitachi Transport System Vantec (Thailand), which are located near to Bangkok, the company is looking to leverage its expertise in “big data” analysis and artificial intelligence to provide a service designed to help maximize cargo haulage efficiency in the country.
