Germany – Following the acquisition of the entire shareholding in Behr Hella Service (BHS) by Stuttgart-based Mahle Aftermarket, all existing activities of BHS are to be transferred to Mahle on January 1, 2020. Mahle said this means customers would then have access to a broad portfolio of thermal management products for passenger cars and trucks as well as agricultural vehicles and construction machines. In the future, products will be offered under the Behr sales brand and the portfolio continuously expanded.

Current customers of BHS can order products using familiar part numbers, even after 1 January 1, 2020. They are to remain in place throughout a transition period, while Mahle part numbers are to be implemented in parallel.
