Navistar to invest USD125m in new engine production facility

USANavistar Inc of Lisle, Illinois, USA says it is to make capital investments of approximately USD125m in new and expanded manufacturing facilities at its Huntsville engine plant in Alabama State. The investment is expected to create an additional 145 jobs at Huntsville.

The existing Huntsville site manufactures the 12.4-litre International A26 diesel engines. New investments over the next three years are aimed at producing next-generation big-bore powertrains developed with global alliance partner, Traton Group.
