18 Solaris trolleybuses for Italian cities

Poland / Italy - Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. of Bolechowo, Poland (a subsidiary of Spain’s CAF Group - Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) is to supply 18 Trollino 10 trolleybuses to the Italian cities of Modena and Parma. Operators SETA Modena is taking eight units and TEP Parma is acquiring 12 – jointly the contracts are worth almost EUR12m.
The 8 trolleybuses commissioned by SETA Modena are being configured for use on a trolleybus line with an a typical 750v supply (usually 600-650v) and will be delivered at the end of 2020. The 10 vehicles for TEP Parma will be supplied in several batches between April and July next year.
