Carbuss expands export sales

Brazil / Chile - The Brazilian coachbuilder, Carbuss Ltda (formerly Busscar) of Joinville, Santa Catarina announced in June it had exported, ten Vissta Buss 340 coaches on Scania K340 4x2 Euro 5 chassis for charter and tourism operations in Santiago, Chile. This model had executive seats, minibar, toilet, air conditioning and TV monitor for entertainment.

Chile has become its most important export market since production was resumed 18 months ago in Joinville; in April this year, it sold eight Vissta Buss 340 models on Mercedes-Benz chassis to operator, Tandem, which operates routes in Santiago, Copiapó, Atacama, and also provides charter and tourism services. In February, ten units with Vissta Buss 340 and 360 bodies were exported to different bus companies through the Chile Carbuss dealer representative, Vivipra.
