The Busscar brand of coach bodies resumed production in 2019 under the name Carbuss - Indústria Cartarinense de Carrocerias Ltda - a subsidiary of bus body builder Caio Induscar of Botucatu, in the state of São Paulo.

Busscar, a coach brand, resurrected by Carrbus, now has several models in production at Joinville for export.

Coach body builder, Carbuss Industria Catarinense de Carrocerias Ltda, which builds under the Busscar brand name, has announced plans to increase its market share of the intercity and charter coach segment in Brazil to 20% in 2021, putting it in second place to Marcopolo.

Carbuss Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Ltda has sold 266 coaches to the JCA group of Niterói city, Rio de Janeiro state.

Carbuss has expanded its export range of models to Uruguay with the sale of its first El Buss 320L coach to Decatur, a coach operator in Cerro Largo city.

The Brazilian coachbuilder, Carbuss Ltda, announced in June it had exported, ten Vissta Buss 340 coaches on Scania K340 4x2 Euro 5 chassis for charter and tourism operations in Santiago.

Carbuss Industria Catarinense de Carrocerías Ltda which operates under the Busscar brand name, is targeting both domestic and export markets in order to ramp up production and sales in 2019.
