Ebusco secures a substantial part of electric bus order with Qbuzz

The Netherlands – Deurne-based electric bus builder, Ebusco is to supply 60 Ebusco 2.2 12m vehicles to bus operator, Qbuzz for operation in Groningen and Drenthe by the end of 2019. These are claimed to offer an operating range of 400km (250 miles) buses.
The total order from Qbuzz is for 164 buses – all of which are to be introduced in Groningen and Drenthe at the same time. VDL Groep of Eindhoven is to supply 45 city buses and French city bus builder, Heuliez the remaining 59 units. (Qbuzz was founded in 2008. In July 2017, the owners sold the operation to Busitalia, part of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane).
