France – Load security specialist, Pommier Group of Cergy-Pontoise, France, has developed a new concept for installing lashing rings in commercial vehicles with suitability for use on curtainsided vans, trucks and trailers. The so-called RC 2.5 Clix, is available in two shapes conventional 'U' or 'π' shapes, features notched legs which are inserted through the side plate into joggled holes in the spring-loaded locking plate. This is slid sideways to secure the legs firmly into position.

Each of the new lashing ring styles is certified to 2.5t. Pommier claims the design reduces installation time by 80%.
