ADL extends hybrid range with new Enviro400 ER double decker

UK - Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) of Larbert has expanded its range of low and zero emission buses with introduction of the new Enviro400ER Electric Range hybrid double deck bus. Developed with BAE Systems, the Enviro400ER offers geofenced zero emission capability and is suited for operation in pollution hotspots in urban areas.
Based on its technology partner’s series hybrid technology, currently applied in more than 1,400 ADL hybrid buses in the UK, the new Enviro400ER is designed to meet local Ultra Low Emission Zones and zero emissions targets without the need for expensive charging infrastructure and without impacting daily operational range.
