USA - Cummins Inc of Columbus, Indiana is expanding its 2020 X15 portfolio with a new X15 Efficiency Series engine and the X15 Productivity Series offering operational efficiency without compromising performance and driveability required by drivers.

The 2020 X15 Efficiency Series engine delivers up to 5% better fuel economy than its predecessor, Cummins states, and is designed for increased uptime and improved driver satisfaction. Cummins also claims it has an industry-leading maintenance schedule, including an oil-drain interval of up to 75,000 miles (or 80,000 if operated with Valvoline Premium Blue 15W-40 oil). Customers participating in Cummins’ OilGuard programme have the potential to increase this to a 100,000-mile drain period. These extensions will decrease maintenance costs and improve vehicle uptime for customers, all while protecting their coverage under warranty.
