eCitaro deliveries commence outside Germany

Germany / Luxembourg / Norway / Sweden – Daimler Buses of Mannheim, Germany a Daimler AG division has commenced its first deliveries of full electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses to customers outside Germany.

Voyages Emile Weber of Canach, Luxembourg, is taking nine eCitaros with a two-door layout and full complement of 12 battery packs with a total capacity of 292kWh. Norgebus of Trollasen, Norway is taking six eCitaros with tree-door layouts and 10 battery packs for a total capacity of 243kWh. These vehicles are additionally equipped with roof mounted pantograph systems to enable intermediate charging opportunities and to provide extended operating range. Bergkvarabuss of Ystad, Sweden, has opted for five eCitaros in the two-door format. These also feature the maximum 12 battery packs providing 292kWh.
