Turkey / The Netherlands - Ford Otomotiv Sanayi A.Ş (Ford Otosan), the Gölcük, Turkish-based joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Koç Holding, has signed an agreement with European truck and trailer rental and leasing giant, TIP Trailer Services, headquartered in Amsterdam, for aftersales services in western Europe. The move follows successful introduction of Ford's new F-MAX tractor last year and winner of the International Truck of the Year 2019 award. Ford Trucks has now raised its growth target, which includes expanding sales within west European countries and this agreement with TIP Trailer Services, which is aimed at expanding its aftersales network simultaneously in those markets.

Ford Trucks currently has an established presence in the Middle East, Africa, Russia and the Turkic Republics. Growth is now anticipated with new dealers in the European market while accelerating efforts to increase the number of countries to 51 by 2020. The agreement signed between Ford Trucks and TIP Trailer Services appoints TIP to provide warranty services as well as proactive services to Ford Trucks vehicles in the region.
