Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (Fuso), a Daimler subsidiary based in Kawasaki, Japan, at the end of August unveiled the 2019 model-year Aero Star large city bus and Rosa medium-duty bus.

The new Aero Star is to go on sale in the third week of September and is to be fitted as standard with Mitsubishi-Fuso’s Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS) to improve safety. In emergency situations, including where the driver becomes incapacitated, the EDSS brings the vehicle to an emergency stop if one of several buttons installed in and around the cockpit is pressed.
