Japan / Thailand - Hino Motors Ltd of Hino-shi, Japan plans to introduce its light-duty Hino Bus Liesse Ⅱ in Thailand starting September, as the company looks to expand its product range to help fulfill the diverse customer requirements in the country.

It is understood this will be the first time Hino will have sold this model outside Japan. A key safety feature is that it is fitted with the company’s Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) as standard equipment. This automatically controls the brakes and engine output to help prevent spins and rollovers. The standard ABS system also helps ensure vehicle stability. It is powered by the N04C-VL engine producing 100kW/136hp through a 5-speed manual transmission.
