Krone’s Peter Ahlers appointed MD of Knapen Group

Germany / The Netherlands – Further to the takeover of the Knapen Group the Dutch moving floor trailer company of Duerne last month by Krone Commercial Vehicle Group, headquartered in Spelle, Germany, Krone employee, Peter Ahlers (54) has been appointed joint managing director effective August 1, 2019. Ahlers, with a degree in production engineering, is to take over the management of the Knapen Group based in Deurne, the Netherlands, which has been part of the Krone Commercial Vehicle Group since July. He will report directly to the Management Board of Krone Holding. Peter Joosten, previous owner of the Knapen Group, will also remain as managing director.
